Overview

Help organisations improve financial performance through practical advisory and operational support.

Most business owners are not short of financial data. They are short of a clear answer to three questions: where the money actually went, whether this month was good or bad, and what the next quarter looks like if nothing changes.

We handle the finance work that produces those answers, and then help you act on them.

The routine layer is bookkeeping and record-keeping done accurately and on time, payroll processed correctly, and month-end closed without a scramble. It is not glamorous, but nothing built on top of it works if the underlying numbers cannot be trusted — and a surprising number of the problems we are asked to solve turn out to be bookkeeping problems wearing a strategy costume.

On top of that we produce management reporting written for the person making decisions, not for a filing requirement. A short pack that shows what changed, why, and what it implies. Margin by product or service line where the business has never seen it split out. The customers, contracts or activities that quietly lose money.

The advisory work follows naturally: budgets built from something more solid than last year plus ten percent, cash-flow forecasting that shows how much runway there really is, pricing and cost reviews, and the financial modelling behind a hire, a location, a new line, or a funding conversation.

We work alongside your accountant rather than in competition with one. They handle statutory filing and tax; we cover the operational and advisory layer in between, which is where most organisations have a gap. If you have no finance function at all, we can be it until the volume justifies your own.

What we will not do is tell you the numbers look fine when they do not. If the model only works on assumptions nobody can defend, the useful thing we can offer is to say so early, while there is still room to change course.
